Little people, big cities

Little people, big cities

I recently discovered a blog documenting The Little People Project, an art installation project created by Slinkachu. It showcases photos of delightful small scale installations created from repainted and remodelled miniature train set characters. The characters are set up in humorous ways, in scenes that explore ideas of being overwhelmed by city life. The underlying aim of the project is to surprise citizens and get them to take notice of their surroundings.

Imagine stumbling across one of these intriguing installations on your way to work, wouldn’t it just make your day?

Also check out Slinkachu’s other project based on a similar idea, Inner City Snail – A slow-moving street art project.

Yours in street art,
