Movember at Grill’d

Movember at Grill’d

Movember at Grilld

After receiving my first donations for my outrageously good-looking “Movember” mustache, I was pleasantly surprised with an email inviting me to have a free Grill’d burger, every day for thirteen days.

Having never been to a Grill’d before, I followed the link in the email. This took me to a specially-designed movember-themed area of the Grilled site. As a web developer I was impressed with their online marketing strategy.

Turning up to Grill’d was a fun experience. Yeah their was a giant line of men – an offer to have free premium, healthier burger was hard to pass up – but the staff were clearly enjoying the occasion and the food was delivered promptly.

And judging by the photo, perhaps the greatest courtesy extended by Grill’d was the great mo-lighting they provided. My mo’ looks incredible, easily thickening the bristles by 66.7% and allowing me to approach the much sought after “wooly beast” look.

I probably should also mention that according to the Movember site, they have raised AUS$60 million globally for the fight against prostate cancer and depression in men.
