Font-tastic!

This book is currently on its way to my house and, for a type nerd obsessed with swirly elegant letterforms it is an absolute dream. “Scripts: Elegant Lettering from Design’s Golden Age” is a new book by Louise Fili and Stephen Heller containing of examples of beautiful vintage script lettering from the mid-19th-to-20th century. While the gorgeous hand-lettered hard cover first caught my attention, it is the anticipation of the hundreds of full-colour, full-bleed, close-up photos and scans inside that will have me hanging around my letterbox for the next couple of weeks. I can’t wait! Check it out on Amazon for a sneak peek inside.
