Mayo International distributes Australian-made salon quality hair products that are made from only natural ingredients. Made by hairdressers for hairdressers, the salon products have grown a cult following throughout the years. Brio Group developed the Mayo International website in 2006, and in 2009 Mayo International approached Brio Group to develop the eCommerce components of the site as they needed to open up wholesale and retail opportunities online.

To help build a new online market for Mayo International using eCommerce technology. To create a functional, easy-to-use, and secure shopping cart that answers the needs for consumers (wholesale and retail) to purchase products Australia-wide.
Brio Group developed eCommerce capabilities that are content managed and structured to support promotional activities. The site was expanded to accommodate the Shopping Bag, Product Category Quicklinks and a
Feature Product Tile to promote a product of the client’s choice that aligns with their marketing initiatives and the market trends. We also introduced the ‘Most Popular Products’ promo tile that allows Mayo International to push best sellers. As there are two audiences - wholesale and retail - with different price points, we customised the log in areas to ensure correct content was reaching both groups. We also developed securities around a certain product that was only available for licensed people who meet the criteria to sell. Additionally, Brio Group made recommendations for monthly promotional campaigns that can be leveraged online to help boost online sales.
After overcoming these important requirements, we developed an eCommerce site that allowed for cross selling, up selling, SSL certificates, and custom integration with our client’s bank. The Mayo International eCommerce website is practical, user-friendly and has all the functionalities that our client requires to personally manage and update at any stage. The eCommerce site has given Mayo International the ability to build an online retail presence to increase brand awareness and boost sales without compromising their relationship with existing suppliers.
