Brio wins Silver and Gold!
Brio Group has won a Silver and Gold Award at this year’s Australiasian Reporting Awards (ARA) for our work on the Brisbane City Council (BCC) and Lockyer Valley Regional Council (LVRC) 2013-2014 annual reports.
LVRC was the only Council in Queensland to win a Gold Award for their annual report this year and we couldn’t be happier with the result.
The ARA’s promote excellence in annual reports, recognising their importance to businesses by evaluating the communication effectiveness and accuracy of content. This includes how the publication is designed and laid out, with material being clear, concise and in a logical order. Graphs, tables and photographs should enhance key messages, while the overall messaging should:
- Provide a balanced and reasonable picture of their economic, environmental, and social performance
- Facilitate comparability, benchmarking and assessment of performance
- Address issues of concern to stakeholders.
Both LVRC and BCC have been longstanding Brio clients, providing us with challenging – and rewarding – work to promote their many activities and initiatives.
We’ve been winning awards for our work on BCC and LVRC annual reports for a number of consecutive years, with both clients winning bronze in 2011-2012 and silver in 2012-2013 .
